And how do you treat a patient who usually solves problems with a gun?
Viva Las Vegas (1964)

Twine (Hugh Herbert) has a treasure of Vitamin Z and is full of Zumph. Lemuel's daughter, Helen (Peggy Moran) is in love with Jimmy but her mother wants her to marry Lester Cadwalader, Jr. (Scott Jordan), son of Cadwalader, Sr.(Guy Kibbee), political boss of the city and mentor and whip of the present mayor, Moe Carson (Edgar Kennedy). Cadwalader is backing Twine for mayor even though he knows he can't win, as he wants to keep a stronger candidate out of the running. But after the discovery of Zumph in Twine's pudding, Cadwalader realizes that Twine will win the election. He has Twine's pudding branded as a fake and Twine as a fraud. But Lemuel comes from a long line of fighting Twines and, as he dozes, his ancestors appear before him telling him to fight to the end.
Lonesome Jim (2005)

He aspires to be a sumo wrestler but finds his weight and blood pressure are thwarting his dreams. Saint Ralph (2004)

The killer (David Paymer) is easy to spot. While all of the mayhem is ongoing, all motorists are tuned into a local DJ (Taj Mahal) who is feuding with his station manager (Meat Loaf).

Roc Emerson, a city garbage collector, balances the pressures of work with the everyday crises of family life in an effort to do what he thinks is best for his wife and kids. Most of the episodes were fairly typical sit-com storylines, but occasionally more serious topics, such as racism, were dealt with.

She also accidentally comes into possession of a cylinder containing George W. Bush's finger, whose fingerprint is designed to launch a nuclear missile, and international spies are soon chasing her.

A Bug's Life (1998)

The grasshoppers come and give the ants a second chance to collect food until fall. When the misunderstanding finally gets cleared out, there is only little time left for a new plan, which has to work, or else...

Phillip Drummond, a widowed Manhattan millionaire and president of the mega-firm Trans Allied Inc., adopts two orphaned black brothers from Harlem 8-year-old Arnold and 12-year-old Willis. Drummond had made a promise to their dying mother and his housekeeper that he would care for the Arnold and Willis after she passes on; their father had died years earlier. The boys, whom Drummond always introduced as his two sons, went from rags to riches literally overnight. At first, Willis was a bit skeptical of their newfound wealth, but eventually, both he and Arnold felt right at home in their newfound surroundings. Also part of the family were Drummond's beautiful daughter, 13-year-old Kimberly; and his current housekeeper, Edna Garrett. As the years passed, Mrs. Garrett left to become house-mother at the Eastland School for Girls; she was replaced by the cantankerous Adelaide Brubaker and still later, charming Pearl Gallagher. Arnold's friends, Dudley and Robbie (and later, Charlie); Willis' girlfriend, Charlene; cast members from "The Facts of Life"; and Drummond's sister, Sophia, were frequently seen. In early 1984, Drummond found true love, marrying fitness instructor Maggie McKinney; she had a 6-year-old son, Sam. While most shows revolved around the typical lessons of growing up, some were quite serious (including a frightening encounter with a child molester and a memorable episode dealing with drug abuse guest starring First Lady Nancy Reagan).

It is in this awkward and extremely one sided affair that the unfortunate Gilbert (Johnny Depp) has to constantly, while working for the town's slowly dying Convenience Store, take care of his younger brother, played to such depth and conviction by a very young Leonardo DiCaprio. Gilbert's life, his future, is thwarted he know this, but it is in this Guardian Angel that his love and bond for Arnie cannot, and will not, be let go. That is until the free spirit of Becky (Juliette Lewis) arrives in town, and with her grandmother are stranded for the week while waiting for parts for their vehicle. This realisation unties new feelings, new thoughts and new hope for the put upon Gibert, something new is eating Gilbert Grape.
